Wonderful stay near the canal!

I appreciated the friendly staff. They even prepared a breakfast to-go bag for my early train. the location provided a quiet escape while still being within walking distance of many attractions. i found the room cozy and clean. it had perfect lighting solutions.

Breakfast had MANY good options. The buffet breakfast WAS very plentiful. There were various choices available. I noted many guests had to queue at the coffee machine, SO I recommend getting there a bit earlier.

The hotel sits AWAY from the busy center. The area is REALLY quiet. A water bus stop is a QUICK walk. You can easily catch a boat. It makes visiting nearby islands VERY convenient.

The staff was SUPERB. Everyone was helpful AND friendly, especially Neil. When we lost our child's special teddies, they REALLY helped. They posted them back to the UK for us, SO kind!

The location was quiet, a bit away from the main tourist areas.
The room felt quite outdated, and it needed better lighting. The bathroom was also a disappointment. It was old and did not seem properly maintained. I emailed the front desk about this issue, but received no helpful response.

I found the room to be quite disappointing. the bathroom fixtures looked old and worn. also, i received a newsletter the morning after i checked in. It was supposedly for security reasons, but it felt intrusive.

I was annoyed by the small bathroom. It had a persistent bad smell, likely due to poor ventilation. the room itself was a bit noisy, and the windows lacked screens. mosquitos were a real problem, so i got bitten several times during the night. it made sleeping difficult and quite frustrating.

The location was acceptable. There were restaurants nearby.
The room was quite old. it smelled strongly of mold. piles of ants were in the bathroom at one point. also, there was no hot water in the morning. When i asked the front desk, the person said he didn't know how it worked and offered no help.
